Two Rivers by The Adventures

Ihe Adventures
Two Rivers

C D
They might say we can't go on
G F
They will try to burn you down
C D
What they say can make you strong
G E
But they can't see no reason when I'm talking to you

         A D
Don't let behind the reasons why we've come this far
         E A
You'll feel the pride of what we are
D
Two rivers run to sea and catch the falling stars
    E A D
In troubled times come to me for shelter
E
I'll be running to be with you and...

I'm willing to make that deal
Is there a chance to carry on
If they could feel the way I feel
They would see the reason
Why I'm talking to you.

         A D
Don't let behind the reasons why we've come this far
         E A
You'll feel the pride of what we are
D
Two rivers run to see and catch your falling stars
    E A D
In troubled times come to me for shelter
E--- D-E-E7
I'll be running to be with you again...

Don't let behind the reasons why we've come this far
You'll feel the pride of what we are
Two rivers run to see and catch your falling stars
When the darkest hour surrounds you
In troubled times come to me for shelter
I'll be running to be with you again...

Two rivers run...

---
This is a tribute to the contemporaries of U2 (like Ultravox and The Alarm) that
unfortunately sounded a lot like Bono and did not make it quite as big but made epic waves in
Manila, Japan, Italy and France.
